Inside the IRC: Where Your PTA Dollars Go
10/1/2026 9:25 am
You've probably walked past it — the building with the enormous windows next to the 7/8 roundabout. That's our Information Resource Center (IRC), and it's much more than a library.
Students use it for research, Chromebooks and printing, homework help, Battle of the Books, lunchtime clubs, chess, sewing, and 3D printing.
Did you know? About two-thirds of all IRC visits (nearly 40,000 a year) come from 7th and 8th graders. This year, our PTA goal is to raise $5,500 to maintain and enhance the IRC.
If your child has found a place to study, create, or belong there, please consider supporting our Annual Giving Campaign!
