Fundraising

Ralphs

Ralphs’ Community Contribution program pays LCHS 1% of your purchases at Ralphs, at no cost to you, when you register your Ralphs card to benefit LCHS.   Please note that this program benefits both LCHS 7/8 and 9-12.

Note: Your Ralphs card must be re-registered each year beginning September 1, otherwise your registration expires and payments to LCHS stop.

How to register or re-register your Ralphs card:

Go to ralphs.com and create an account or sign in to your existing account. Click on your name in the upper right. Under Community Rewards, select La Canada High School PTSA 7-12.

If you register online, your Ralphs receipts will have LCHS printed at the bottom. If you register with the scanbar letter, nothing will be printed on your receipts.

LCHS 7/8 Fundraising

LCHS 7/8 PTA is a 501c (3) tax exempt incorporated organization. It is one of five PTA units in the La Canada PTA Council.   La Canada is part of First District PTA, which is one of several districts in the California State PTA and ultimately, the National PTA. The mission of PTA is to positively impact the lives of children and families with the goal to promote, build and expand family engagement in the education process and to bring into closer relation the home and the school that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.

In order to facilitate the mission and goals of PTA at our school, we engage in several fundraising activities. The fundraising proceeds are used for student enrichment, classroom and campus supplies and equipment, support for the library (IRC), extra-curricular activities, PTA operations, membership events, and programs such as Reflections, Stand Up 7/8 Week, Red Ribbon Week, Student of the Month and more.

Our fundraising is largely derived from generous donations from our school families and from the annual Home Tour, which is presented by both LCHS 7/8 PTA and the LCHS 9-12 PTSA.

Donations are gratefully accepted year round; please see our Spartan Cart for more information.
