Register your grocery cards, gas cards and/or debit or credit cards with eScrip, and a percentage of your purchases is donated to LCHS 7-8 by participating merchants. eScrip's biggest local merchant partner is Vons, which gives back up to 4% of purchases. Other participating local merchants include Office Max, Zany Brainy, Baja Fresh and Big 5.

To register LCHS 7-8 as your educational beneficiary, log on to www.escrip.com, register yourself and any/all specific credit cards you may use to make purchases, and designate "La Canada Junior High School" (ID No. 154274066) as your educational beneficiary. Each time you use the registered cards, LCHS 7-8 benefits from your purchases.

If you are already signed up for eScrip, don't forget to keep your credit card information current: if your card expires, you need to notify eScrip or your donations will cease. If you use your phone number when you go to Vons, eScrip won't work unless you call Vons at 1-877-723-3929 to have them connect your Vons card to your eScrip account.

NOTE: Even if you're already signed up at eScrip, you need to confirm with them that you wish to be signed up. Just visit www.escrip.com and go to My Account to renew your commitment.

7/8 Core English Literature Books Available at La Cañada Books & Toys

La Cañada Books & Toys will once again conduct its “Core Literature Program” beginning August 25 and concluding September 30. You can save time looking for the right publication and 10% of the net sales will be donated to the LCHS 7/8 PTA. The store has a copy of the most recent LCUSD Core Literature list and will stock required literature upon confirmation by instructors. (You may also download the list here.) Macy's

Sign up at www.eScrip.com to register your Macy's card. Purchases must be made with a Macy's Card, registered with eScrip.

Your organization will earn:
2% on monthly purchases between $0-175
4% on monthly purchases between $176-$300
6% on monthly purchases above $300

EXAMPLE:
$175.00 = 2% = $ 3.50
$176-$300 = 4% = $ 5.00
$301-$325 = 6% = $ 1.50

Office Depot 5% Back To Schools Program

It's easy!

Special books will be available in retail stores detailing School ID #'s, plus Office Depot employees will be available to assist customers as well. At the La Crescenta Office Depot, the binder is located on a table at the entrance. The LCHS 7-8 code is _________ (coming soon!)

NOTE: The trick is that you must tell the sales clerk, before they start to ring up the sale, that you want the 5% Back to School donation.

Online customers will be asked for school information including school name, address and city at the conclusion of their order, and the 5% credit will then be applied to that designated school based on qualifying purchases.

Ralphs

Ralphs will give up to 4% of purchases back to the school of your choice when you use your Ralphs club card. Register by emailing the following information to Kathy Hernandez at kchristieh@aol.com: Name, Address, Phone #, Ralphs Club Number. You may also call Kathy with the information. (see school directory for her phone number)

Your Ralphs club number should be 12 or 13 digits, and should start with 248 or 249. You can find it on your receipt at the point where the card was entered. (in other words, not always at the beginning or the end - often in the middle.) You may also call Ralphs at 1-800-660-9003 to obtain your number.

NOTE: Please do NOT submit your phone number as your Ralphs Club Number! This is a separate number!!

Crew, Tower Records, Toys R Us, priceline.com and many more. A portion of every purchase is rebated to LCHS 7-8 - up to 20%. This program is provided at no additional cost to the school or the shopper.
