When emailing a teacher, here are some tips to help ensure that the District Office’s server doesn’t block it from being delivered:

• Include a subject on the subject line – typically your student’s name is appropriate;
• Refrain from sending attachments;
• Keep messages to within a few lines in length.

Teachers at the 7/8 are very responsive to e-mail. Please do not assume that if you have not received a response that a teacher is ignoring your concern. It is more than likely that your e-mail has been blocked. If more than 48 hours go by and you have not had a response, please follow up with a phone call to the Office.
